Sesame Ginger Dressing

As seen in my post featuring my Sesame Ginger Salmon Grain Bowl, this is the liquid gold that gave the dish its ruby slippers. Being light, sweet and tangy, this dressing/marinade will make your salad throw up its jazz hands, vegetables do the can-can, and chicken bathe itself in it.

INGREDIENTS

2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce

½ cup vegetable oil

1 tbsp sesame oil

3 tbsp rice vinegar

Zest of 1 lime

1 tbsp lime juice

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tbsp ginger, minced

3 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp sesame seeds

1 tsp sriracha, optional

DIRECTIONS

DRESSING/MARINADE:

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium mixing bowl and stir well to combine.

  2. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
